WHIRLING RAINBOW PROPHESY
To the Navajo and the Hopi, the Swirling or Whirling Rainbow Woman is the bringer of friendly rains that nurture the Three Sisters -- Corn, Squash and Beans -- during the summer so that people will be fed. Many times an image of the Whirling Rainbow is created in Sand Painting, an ancient Sacred Healing Art performed by the Medicine Clans of those Nations.
The Whirling Rainbow Woman comes from all Four Directions and curves like a swastika covering all directions. The outside of the Sacred Circle is protected by another Whirling Rainbow Woman bending her body in the space below creating a cup-shape to catch the rain and protect the circle. Without the Rain, the Three Sisters will die and the People will not be fed.
The Whirling Rainbow is the promise of peace among all Nations and all people. The Rainbow Race stresses equality and opposes the idea of a superior race that would control or conquer other races. The Rainbow Race brings peace through the understanding that all races are one. The unity of all colors, all creeds working together for the good of the whole, is the idea that is embodied in the Whirling Rainbow. When all pathways to wholeness are respected by all cultures, the prophecy of the Whirling Rainbow will be completed.
When I lived in Mexico and worked with the Grandmothers, the Dreamtime Buffalo Society, or Sisterhood, had many prophecies derived from Seers and Dreamers that had come down through the ages. The prophecy of the Whirling Rainbow was very specific. When the Time of the White Buffalo approaches, the third generation of the White Eyes' children will grow their hair and speak of love as the healer of the Children of the Earth.
These children will seek new ways of understanding themselves and others. They will wear feathers and beads and paint their faces. They will seek the Elders of the Red Race and drink of their wisdom. These white-eyed children will be a sign that the Ancestors are returning in white bodies, but they are Red on the inside. They will learn to walk the Earth Mother in balance again and reform the idea of the white chiefs. These children will be tested as they were when they were Red ancestors by unnatural substances like firewater to see if they can remain on the Sacred Path.
The generation of Flower Children have moved through this part of the prophecy and some have remained on the Sacred Path. Others were lost for a while and are now returning to the natural way of being. Some were disillusioned and have forgotten the high ideals that gave them life when their hearts were young, but others still are waking up and quickening into remembering.
Grandmother Cisi would look at me with her obsidian eyes piercing my soul when she spoke of the Whirling Rainbow Prophecy, and I would feel my heart skip a beat and then fill with promise and love. She would tell me about the return of the Buffalo to Turtle Island and how the herds would once again be numerous. After the time when the Buffalo returned, the generation following the Flower Children would see the dawning of the Fifth World of Peace.
Grandmother Cisi called the beginning of this Fifth World the wobbly pony that on being born would try to use his legs. She said that the wobble would be felt by the the Earth Mother and the changes would occur in the soil and the waters. Inside the Children of the Earth, the wobble would create rolling emotions and feelings that would bring the quickening and the remembering. Colorful dreams would be brought into the Sleep time and Dreamtime dreams of these newborn Warriors of the Rainbow and they would begin to learn how to Walk in Balance. The changes in our Earth Mother would create fear in her children, which would later lead to the understanding and unity of Our Planet--One People.
Grandmother Berta would giggle when we came to this part of the prophecy because my eyes would be round as saucers and I could not sit still. Grandmother Berta would urge Grandmother Cisi to stop for the day and leave me hanging on the edge of the cliff just to tease me. Cisi would finally begin again and slap my knee to make me pay attention to the rhythm of the prophecy because my mind would be spinning with probabilities and my own projections. I wanted to ask so many questions about how, when, where, and why. I wanted to know details, details . I was twenty-two and very impatient, but I kept silent so she would The Whirling Rainbow will appear in the form of a Sun Dog to those who are ready to see. The Sun Dog is a full Rainbow Circle around the sun that has bright white lights at the Four Directions. The Sun Dog is a rare natural phenomenon that was named by Native Americans. The name is now used by scientists all over the world. Many Sun Dogs will be seen around the time of the White Buffalo, which will be the Sky Language sign that the Secret and Sacred Teachings are to be shared with all races. Enough of the Children of Earth will be awakened to carry the responsibility of the teachings and the healing process will begin in full swing.
Grandmother Berta would smile with a faraway look in her eyes, knowing that she would be on the Blue Road when the time of the White Buffalo came. Grandmother Cisi would also be in the Other Side Camp, but both promised they would be assisting me in bringing out the things they had taught me when the time was right.
Both Grandmothers spoke of the change in feelings the Children of the Earth would have during the wobble or healing process as the Whirling Rainbows permeated their dreams. They said, "Many will remember their purpose for being on this Earth Walk and will learn to develop their gifts to assist the whole of humanity. Truth will shatter the bonds of separation and goodness will prevail. Some details of Earth changes will come into the dreams of those who are being warned to move where they will be safe. Others will be told that their talents will be needed in areas where the changes occur. Everyone will have to trust their personal vision and follow their hearts in order to assist the whole. Each person will be able to use their gifts with joy and share equally in the bounty created by all those working together. The other teachings of the prophecy of the Whirling Rainbow will be released at a later time when more have awakened to the potential they carry.

I am at peace with you also, brother White-Bear. I sense how you share this power of gentleness, authentically bringing to those you encounter, a spiritual elegance of great heart. You stand upon the threshhold of ancestral spheres, greeting and welcoming all of us to be here as one heart.
May beauty be always with you,

So many years ago after all the abuse that was inflicted upon me as a child I decided that the world around me had to go through some serious changes if all of us were to "make it". I began this what I perceived as a singular journey, by approaching people and saying to them...."I am at peace with you." I have adhered to this belief my whole life and have for many years felt that I was the only who felt this way. I have since discovered that there are others who believe this way. It is a comforting feeling to know that I am not alone and not crazy.
It gives me great comfort in knowing that you feel as I do. It will be a struggle, but worth it. To know that the human beings will eventually become "humane" beings is a great comfort. I believe as you do, I just don't have the words of eloquence that you have. Thank you for your words and your voice.
Brother, may you walk in beauty...........White-Bear
This is a wonderful 'tradition' and cultural memory that must be passed on to the new generation via tradition of Native American dance, music and songs , and shared with other cultures though 'Native Am Cultural Ambassadors' in County Fairs & Town Fests. If you are Mexico, let's focus on such community outreach in both sides of the borders in Mexico & Texas as one possiblity.
Question: Can we get support from one or two of Four World Council to pursue funding for such outreach with your support and cooperation and my new Facebook group, "Country Fairs & Town Fests' ?

I share this because it is a confirmation to an event that has recently been planned due to many of us receiving messages to come together and honor our Mother Earth and restore Peace and Harmony.
The vision of Earth Day 4 Corners Peace Prayer and Concert was received in late 2010. We felt a very strong pull to have ceremony on the sacred lands. The following day of sharing our desire to fulfill this need, we were offered the land to prepare a gathering where many can come together and create a whole new world together. Approx 2 months later, we received the prophecy around this event. Enjoy ; )

EARTH CELEBRATION - INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE SPIRIT WORLD
June 2003
Two American Indian Spirits, a male and a female, came to me in the early morning. Standing on each side of me, our arms locked together, we began traveling at a high rate of speed across the Earth. We flew across every type of terrain, elevation and geographic feature. We merged with and flowed ‘through’ sand, soil, rocks, hills, mountains, canyons, trees and all types of plant life. We swam through the oceans and went across the land. The sun, moon and stars were always present. At one point I could see a river in the distance and I said “we will be going into the river” and we did. When we emerged on the opposite bank of the river I found myself at ground level. I felt like an insect or a small animal. I could smell the soil and see rows of corn, melons and some other plants around me. I looked around and as I began to stand up I could see I was in the middle of a large garden.
At that point I heard someone speaking and I turned my attention to a man standing behind a podium on a stage in the center of the garden. I thought to myself, “I should pay attention to what he is saying.” He spoke about the human spiritual and molecular connection to the elements of nature, that we are one with creation and the significance of protecting the environment for future generations. His terminology about the environment was both scientific as well as spiritual. His primary topic was ‘water.’ He was also a Native American. As he was speaking I noticed that he wasn’t directly speaking to me. He appeared to be giving a speech and looking out beyond the stage. I followed his gaze and at that point I saw people sitting in a stadium listening to his speech. The stage was surrounded by the garden that I was standing in and also there were small trees in containers and artwork. It was a beautiful setting.
At that point one Spirit spoke to me and said, “This needs to happen. It is time.”
Then in an instant, the two Spirits and I were up in space above the region of the U.S. looking down at the land. One of them spoke again and she said, “the gatherings need to happen at four places.” At that time I saw a burning ember started to glow in the southwest region of the U.S. A second one was in the northwest. The third and the fourth ones appeared almost at the same time…one in the central region and one towards the Great Lakes. I began to think about Willie Nelson and Farm Aid and I said to the Spirits, “do you mean like Farm Aid?” They answered, “Yes and he had our help.”
At that time I started to feel quite overwhelmed about the task and said to them, “four?” They answered, “Start with one.” As they gave me further detailed instruction, I began to see the gatherings in progress. The Spirits said that each gathering carried the general theme, but each would be unique and help to provide national direction for years to come. I thought about the Civil Rights March on Washington and they said, “That set in motion some of the changes you have experienced.” They said the speakers should focus on current environmental crises, but at the same time it is to discuss and identify next steps in preserving and protecting our environment and learning to coincide in a more natural state with the Earth.
As I heard these words I saw speakers such as Native American Elders, scientists, writers and storytellers, lawyers, business people and others sharing important information. There were singers, musicians and poets. There was a strong presence of Indigenous people. It was energetic and positive. It was a celebration, but serious issues were being discussed. I saw information booths and smaller rooms where people were having discussions. The spirits made clear to me that the gathering must also appeal to the ‘individual.’ They showed me a ‘housewife’ and she was turning off a lamp because she wanted to do her part to preserve the environment. They said it should also help people that make laws and others that have to carry them out and then to others that directly impact the environment through their business activities.
The Spirits said, “People need to learn what they can do.” I asked, “Who should I speak to? Who will help?” They said, “Begin to talk about it. There will be a group of people that will come together who will help. They are receiving the messages too.” I hesitated about asking about a time frame knowing that this would be on “Creator’s time,” but they said, “Start with the first one.” The Spirits said a final time, “this needs to happen. It is time.”
What: Four gatherings to be held to celebrate our relationship to planet Earth designed to create awareness and serve as forums to expand initiatives and achieve consensus on individual, community and national strategies to protect the environment.
Where: Southwest, Northwest, Midwest and Great Lakes Region (U.S.)
When: Put planning in motion to set future dates.
Why: Targeted public events help to focus attention on the status of the environment in order to develop national consensus and cohesive thought to defend and protect our earth, including the wildlife and heritage resources within the United States. The four gatherings will provide a forum to jointly develop strategies that can be initiated by individuals and communities in order to set forth national direction to promote stronger environmental policies for future generations.
How: The gatherings will provide opportunities for the voices of concerned individuals to be heard through stories, songs, poetry and other media to educate the public at large. Interaction among the participants and educational dissemination shall be key elements. The events will bring together people from all walks of life, ages and income levels to celebrate the Earth. It will give them an opportunity to discuss needed strategies to conserve energy, clean-up the air and water, safeguard and regenerate wilderness and wildlife, protect cultural resources, conserve open space and develop ideas for the green economy.
Individual, community and national environmental stewardship is the human requirement of existence. In this way the Earth will give back to us all that we need or should desire. Organizational efforts will need to include a willingness to redirect resources to secure a gathering place (stadium or other appropriate setting) for each event and to effectively disseminate information with the aim of long-term commitments that go beyond a one-day event.

I cried when I read this. I feel so honored to be part of this.
Cheers,
Kimberlee
My vision was clear - there was an old woman dressed in black walking on top of rubble. She was crying and yelling for her son. A crackling radio was playing, saying, "Israel hit by nuclear bomb, very few survivors". This vision was had in the late 90's.
TECHNO-VILLAGE DREAMS OF INDIGENOUS JOB SECURITY... ...Been checking out my incredible new cyber-clan and I am in deep admiration mode-in fact brought to tears at the amazing work that is being done...has me dreaming of a Techno-Village where everyone has an Indigenous job......I see people in the forest ,in the dessert, on the land...working...one gathers the plants, one processes the plants, one makes the containers for the plant products (which range from food to cosmetics to cleaning products to medecines and tools). We have a Healer on hand and a Hunter and a Ceremony Keeper. We have web-cams and music studios and we support Techno-villages with Indigenous jobs around the world. We are a bio-regional economy-no import no export of our goods and services but much exchange of knowledge and information...we are solar/wind and water powered-our technology does not harm the Earth...we have overcome our population DISTRIBUTION problem (not over-population problem) and food distribution problems...we are using technology and Indigenous cultural ways to live on the parts of the Earth that are currently not inhabited...the mountaintops...the arctic zones...the arid zones....we are repairing the Earth....each Village has only one or two people who are masters at their Indigenous job-there is no competition for jobs...we are all needed and necessary Techno-tribal members-including those who do not work as we currently define this and have new jobs to do....we have left the colonizing governments of canada and america behind and we are walking...we are riding horses...we are taking our Elders in covered wagons, children in goat-carts...we are providing ourselves with all of the elements of survival and community services-so money is now only good for starting fires.....Happy Day-Dreaming to you......Lalo
So well worded, thank you for this!

Permission from the Vatican for Spain to to reduce any “Saracens and pagans and any other unbelievers” to perpetual slavery and "discovered" people be "subjugated and brought to the faith itself."
From the Vatican to England-Papul Bull “Romanus Pontifex” 1455
Permission from the Vatican as a follow-up to the Dum diversas, it extended to the Catholic nations of Europe dominion over discovered lands during the Age of Discovery. Along with sanctifying the seizure of non-Christian lands, it encouraged the enslavement of native, non-Christian peoples in Africa and the New World (North America).
From King to Rupert’s Land-Staking the land-1670-1870
Owned for 200 years by the Hudson’s Bay Company, it was named after Prince Rupert of the Rhine, a nephew of Charles I who was the first Governor of the Hudson's Bay Company. Charles I was the King of England, King of Scotland, and King of Ireland from 27 March 1625 until his execution.
Royal Proclamation of 1763
Royal Proclamation was the concern that Aboriginals were being exploited (oppressed) in their dealings with European settlers and colonial officials. Over time, this has been formally recognized in terms of a fiduciary relationship, in which the Crown is recognized as a “trustee” for Aboriginal peoples, with the duty to act in their interests.
A fiduciary relationship is where the first nations placed special trust, confidence and reliance in to another party, where the party can influence us with their duty to act on the benefit of their belief system, this is where First Nations become Wards of the Crown.
A ward is someone placed under the protection of a legal guardian. A court may take responsibility for the legal protection of an individual, usually either a child or incapacitated person…residential schools started shortly.
The Royal Proclamation recognized Aboriginals as groups living under Crown protection on lands within British dominions and territories. The Crown could not take Aboriginal lands whenever they wanted it, instead it was required to engage in a formal process of negotiation and to purchase the lands from Aboriginal nations….Treaties.
Residential Schools-1840
The first residential schools were established in the 1840, their primary roles were to convert Indigenous children to Christianity and to civilize them. Protestant missionaries followed with opening residential schools in the early 19th century. The Protestant churches not only spread Christianity, but also tried to encourage the Indigenous peoples to adopt agriculture as a way to ensure they would not return to the their original lifestyle after graduation.
In 1884 attendance became compulsory by law for status Indians under 16 years of age. Children were often forcibly removed from their families, or their families were threatened with prison if they failed to send their children willingly. Students were required to live on school premises, with no contact with their families for up to 10 months at a time because of the distance between their home communities and schools, and at times had no contact for years.
Native tongue or the Indigenous language was not allowed to be used, even among themselves and outside the classroom. The goal was to teach the children French or English and forget their own language. When caught speaking their own language they were severely punished for practicing the devils tongue, devils ways and were accused of witchcraft.
