How We Can Continue In Righteousness?

We have the knowledge, we have the technology, do we have the will and desire to continue in a pono (righteous)  way?As indigenous peoples it is up to us to steward Mother Earth but certainly here on Great  Turtle Island, we are not doing this.  A house is a house, isn't it?  Add a water-saving toilet, shower head, double-glazed windows, better insulatiion, low wattage lighting, cistern that recycles grey water  and we could qualify for a LEEDS home award.  Is that enough? Hawaii Grabs More Indigenous Land!

Cultural genocide continues in Hawaii with the latest breaking news of a story about a man name Uncle Abel and the land he's stewarded for the last 30 years.  

The land in question is known as Kawa and sits in the Ka'u district of the Big Island of Hawaii.  Uncle Abel inherited this land and his role as konohiki (steward) from his great-great, Timoteo Keawe but the State does not recognize the paperwork from back then...this is how the State makes land grabs - they changed criteria…
