yes I believe that laughter is the best medicine, when I was diagnosed with breat cancer of the left breast 15 years ago I burned badly from the radiation it took me months to heal and I had the mos pain ever and until the doctor doubled my morhine for pain was I able to heal. It was durning the night I woke up laughing my husband woke me up and asked why I was laughing, I went back to sleep and was awaken by my husband and said you are laughing really hard. And it was then I realized that I waa going to be okay and I am a survivor for 15 years and I love a good belly laught when I can find someone to laugh with.

I have been learning about traditional medicines for years now from a special grandmother but I am willing to learn more to help our people who are suffering from the past.

Awake from your sleep, toss away your denial, no more suffering and pain,
Pick up your Sacred Bundles, go to the Sacred Ceremonies, sweat lodges, pipe ceremonies, full moon circles, men cirles, and lighte the Sacred Fires,
The Grandmothers and Grandfathers, are waiting for you they will listen and ease the pain. Open your hearts and unload the heavy burdens. Speak the truth, cry those healing tears, joy and laughter will follow.
At last you will walk with dignity and respect as a stong Anishnaabe person.
