I greet you in beauty. My name is Carol Petersen. My mother's village sits along the pacific highland crest of central america in Nicaragua. It is the place of the Deer, Masatepe. There are 37 tribes in Nicaragua. The tribe Niquirano was the largest of the area of my maternal ancestors. My father is second gen american Danish who farmed in the town of Tyler, Minn. 8 miles north of Pipestone. His grandparents were from West Denmark. I was born in San Francisco Nov 16, 1949. I follow both lineages equally.

I was sitting around the tar sands of Alberta this morning just being in love. Loving the earth, loving the machines, people, rivers, birds, trees, fish, sand and oil all of it. You know it is the all and none can be separated when it comes to love.
