I'm happy you liked my poem. Yes, we still have a ways to go to do what Martin has asked. I believe the greatest hope for our planet and peoples is for an inner healing. Without it, we can do all the projects we want to save the planet. These projects are important and I support them and participate where I can, such as here on Molokai, saving the monk seals, saving the indigenous species in the forests, and keeping our Pacific clean. At a personal level, I garden, recycle, use no chemicals, have solar panels, and have turned off my tv. Most importantly I try to treat everyone I meet with respect and love.

Love and Unity,

Billy

I finally get why you were so confrontive about my promotion. My email was not clear. I am not asking corporations to donate or give me anything. I was just merely challenging other companies to be generous with their profits and be focused on service. I didn't mean that they have to give it to Dome it! Sorry that you were offended.

I have a world of support everywhere else I am networking. Your "Free, unsolicited advice" would be appreciated if it was delivered with more class. Let me give you a piece of Free Advice. I always try to compliment someone on their effort and their heart before I offer my opinion about how they could be more effective. It will always be received better. You need some communication savvy.

I am offended by your judgement of me. You have attacked my motives and my business skills.

Actually, my son's school district agreed with me when I noted how "Toxic" their cafeteria food was. They put out a district-wide memorandum saying they were going to get all the High Fructose Corn Syrup out of the school food this year. That pretty much eliminates the bulk of what I am railing against.

The school that is accepting the first dome/garden has their own organic garden already and is totally aware of how off the school foods are nationwide. They just aren't in denial or defending what is. They are going after what is right.

This is not how I want to spend my time. How can I withdraw from the Earth Tech Council and find a more loving place to participate at FWII?

I am the Sustainable Liaison for my son's school's PTA. They are asking businesses all over Portland to pony up products, services or PTA nights to raise money for the school. They are willing to market your business through the school, directly to the parents. So I designed this aspect of Eco-School-Aid to address that call. Then I decided - "Why market to one school when I could do it for schools all over the country." The comment in my email was to encourage other companies to consider donating some of their profits towards sustainability in the schools - the schools are extremely toxic in how they feed and care for our kids.

Eco-School-Aid is planning a concert series and a collection of promotions for the corporations to participate in, but those pieces aren't ready yet. What is disturbing is your attack on me. All the other responses have been positive. You don't like the promotion, don't participate. I don't think Phil expected this forum to be abusive.

Where did you get that I am seeking grants? I am selling products and giving away 70% of the profits. I ave a whole different agenda for teh corporations that isn't ready to roll yet. There is nothing on that flyer about corporations. I don't get where you got that idea.
Nor am I asking for charible donations. You want a greenhouse - great. 70% of what you spend supports the schools instead of making some big corporation fat.

I am not sure what value proposition means. The goal of the project is to GIFT greenhouse dome/gardens to the schools because what they are serving and what they are teaching about food is very toxic. I have to make money before I can GIVE away $100,000 dome/gardens so I am doing it buy selling products (Starting with a greenhouse dome for Jane Doe) to make profits. By selling greenhouse that almost any family can afford, we can get more of the population involved with their own food supply and teir health. Schools are non-profits and they are broke. Make sense? What are your objections?

Nice site. Awesome mission. I just have to keep my head down, do triage and get caught up. It will all fall in place divinely. Love and gratitude...denise
