Join us for foraging walks, cooking demonstrations, eating!, making friends in a positive, healthy environment. We have fun here!
Focusing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual nourishment, and rooted deeply within our traditional ways of eating, foraging and respecting our food source, these workshops introduce people to eating as an act of sustainability, spirituality, self empowerment, community building and the strengthening of our collective spirit.
The nature of the workshops are interactive. We encourage participants to share their stories and food knowledge to enhance the experience for everyone.
We look forward to seeing all of you!
Workshops are facilitated by Amanda Lynn Kai, RHN. Amanda is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and of Lakota descent. Her equal passions of food, sustainability and the desire to strengthen the First Nations community manifest in a 10 week culturally relevant, sensitive program for all native people.
