Elders have said that one day, when the world needs it most, the Sacred Fire will come home to the people on the Top of the World.
We invite Fire Circles and Ceremonies from the Four Directions, Elders, Fire Keepers, Wisdom Keepers, women and men, children, people of all colors, people of all nations, all of humankind. We are living by the teaching of the circle, the circle which has no beginning and no end, in which we all belong.

We hear the call to come together from the four corners of the earth and weave our fires and ceremonies into a global tapestry of love and unity. Come! Come and kindle your hearts from a spark of the Sacred Fire Ceremony in Greenland. Celebrate the sacred fire coming home to the people at the top of the world. As our fires are being lit, the circles of many circles will unite and become one living circle, infused with the spirit of all our ancestors. Come and bring your gifts to each other, to our Beloved Mother Earth and to this global web of light. As Angaangaq's grandmother Aanakasaa says, "Life is a ceremony in itself worthy of celebrating with a ceremony." We are a ceremony and the fire in our hearts is the living flame that spreads our prayers and connects us together.

The IceWisdom Circles around the globe will be holding Global Vigil Fires July 17-19 during the Sacred Fire Ceremony in Greenland to weave the strength of our hearts and love into this global vision.

Your local community is invited to hold a vigil fire, for all three days, just one morning or evenining or anytime during the 3 days. We are all welcome to participate in our own ways: holding community fire circles with family and friends, having an indoor fire, lighting a votive light or candle. It is our intention, love and prayers that will give birth to the prophecy of the Sacred Fire Coming Home to Greenland. Let us weave this sacred global circle together to honor the ancient ones and to leave a legacy for future generations.
