A Riderless Horse- The Passing of Brown Bear

Mato Gi, Brown Bear, Phil Lane Sr., always said, " My relatives, we are only here for a short time! So if we can't be happy today, then what day are we waiting for? This beautiful video, with stunning music, produced by his beloved grandson,Jordan Big Horn, reflects the last moments of his 89 year journey on his beloved Mother Earth, as he was carried to his physical resting place by his sons and nephews, who he continues to love and pray for at every moment.

Phil, thank you for this video. I want to share a story. When I was a young woman and still searching for a spiritual path my then husband and I visited Joshua Tree National Forest. I realized I was walking through trees that were over 1000 years old. I became angry. I ask 'God' that I did not understand why these trees got to live so long when I knew I was going to die way before one thousand years!  My answer came when the thought came to me, 'Oh I am less important than a tree or I have a short period to live to do a very important thing on Mother Earth'. I started to search what I was here to do. I found it eventually by constant seeking and now close to 70 years old I know what my purpose is to help suffering addicted at-risk youth. The Great Mystery gave us this brother Brown Bear and his work will continue to bless and help. The league of angels will spread prayers and blessings to the human race so that we may all find the peace we want and need. Pray for the children of the world as they are suffering. Thank you for your prayers and blessings Phil. Grace

I watched this portrayal three times and it caused me to weep!  Certainly all those angels were standing by his side in the folks that surrounded his casket.
