As a white female, raised in white culture, I understand the issue of domination and agression..but STILL I can not understand so many things the whie culture did to the native. Taking children away from home is uncomprehensible to me..still.. I apologize for those who can not apologize for themselves. It was a crime..What goes around comes around..and I see this...over and over. I believe Healing can take place...with love...and understanding...for we are all equal!
We are all related to each other. We can only forgive those who do not understand what they do...

Big Time!! :) In my opinion, No one can own something which does not belong to them? Like Mother Earth? I believe even Hollywood could not distort that which the spirit carries proudly Within - in the hearts of those who know...ALL belongs to the Great Spirit! And I sadly agree that atrocities were rampant but the The NATIVE SPIRIT survived...and LIVES!! .in spite of the attempts to bury Native Languages or the Traditions - like an underground clean, clear stream that continued to flow, now being discovered in the midst of times where pure, uncontaminated water is SO valuable..:) and the wisdom that comes with it..:)
