An old prophecy says:

When the Condor of the South meets the Eagle of the North, the warriors of the rainbow will be born. When the tears from these birds are merged, the warriors of light will
be born.”

This prophecy started to manifest long ago, and several encounters have come to pass throughout the years. In such gatherings, the memory of our ancestors and the ancestors of many
peoples who lived in harmony with Mother Earth, are remembered.

There is a culture that has been imposed upon us: a fictitious world of ‘happiness’ through consumerism; a material world that has divided us as human beings. It has placed a
distance between individuals and their peoples. By consuming double of
what they recycle, consuming millennial woodlands and extracting from
the womb of the great mother all that they consider of material value to
be sold at the market, by poisoning the land so it can no longer
support life, they are destroying the harmony through which we live.

The feelings of solidarity and respect among men, women and children mean being part of the whole human community, of respect towards Mother Earth. It is here where such
prophecy summons us all. Each one of us, in each ancestral culture,
finds the same keys that open the spirit to understand Life.

Native Spirit is part of a drop of water that together with others form the rain and the sea. It is a grain of sand together with others that form the shores. Together, we reclaim our
harmonious heritage and the responsibility that goes with it.

Beautifully said. A ceremony re the same 3 years agoin Bolivia brought me to my life here in Peru. So now i will share your words with some indigenous friends in the Amazon. Water is at a very low level this year, so earth changes are occuring everywhere. Petrol and mining companies now see the Amazon jungle as an untapped wealth to exploit, leaving behind contamination and death. Indigenous people are standing up and insisiting for dialog with these companies to assure their way of life and life itself will continue. This gringa from the north joins with them in an appeal for the 7generation policy to guide their actions.

ABSOLUTELY!! As my friend, White Eagle, said to me years ago, "the "two legged is the only animal in the animal kingdom that is dumb enough to ruin his own drinking water" and from my perspective it is a disgrace that has finally become recognized soWwith Awareness comes Change. NOW, I pray , Together, with the wisdom of our ancestors in our hearts, we can love and respect each other and all our relations, especially our beloved Mother Earth and actually bring balance to this world - whose need is so great..

We just watched a film on the destruction of the rain forest in Indonesia. Your words are so timely and true. We must pay attention and act to make things right, each in our circles together.

Above where I sleep hang two feathers: the Condor, a gift from a wise man living in the mountains of Ecuador, and the Eagle, found on an island in Puget Sound. I ask them to teach me how to better serve the world's people and their home.

Thank you Phil for all the great knowledge and wisdom that you share. I reposted on facebook in an effort to help others "wake up" and return to "real living". I feel a personal "awakening" but also a fear because time is running out. I want to be a part of the solution.
Love and Peace,
