The Sacred Tree

"Then I was standing on the highest mountain of them all, and round about beneath me was the whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there I saw more than I can tell and I understood more than I saw; for I was seeing in a sacred manner the shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being. And I saw that the sacred hoop of my people was one of many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one… Continue

Owl Man Comes For A Visit

This afternoon, my Great-Great Grandfather, Owl Man appeared , looking through my father's pictures. His Spirit of Love, Compassion, Strength and Generosity

touched me deeply. Within his Spirit is my Tiospaye. He will sit, for awhile,

with those who visit here, in the Everywhere Spirit. A gentle reminder of all

those many Beloved Ones , of every Family, Tribe and Nation, who…

Swimming Nine Stories Above Bangkok, May 22, 2010 !

Deloria, Franco and I have been spending a wonderful afternoon in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 4th Day of a Dawn to Dusk Curfew. Dead silence at night, except for random barking of dogs, in the heart of a former pulsing and vibrant City of Twelve Million. Leaving for Jakarta for ASEAN meetings on Monday and then home to Canada

on Friday, May 28.…

Great Spirit, today, let me touch the Earth so the Earth can touch me.

"The old people came literally to love the soil and they sat or reclined on the ground with a feeling of being close to a mothering power...The soil was soothing, strengthening, cleansing
and healing..."

Dr Frank David Cardelle

Just after midnight (GMT/UTC), on the 22nd April 2010, Dr Frank David Cardelle crossed the rainbow bridge. Frank has been a long time friend of mine and I know that many of you also know him either personally or by reputation. He was a teacher, a human being and a global soul. He spent 40 years of his life, wandering this amazing planet, helping others to understand why they… Continue

Sacred Circle

Hello to all, Since I use the term "Sacred Circle" frequently perhaps I should clarify what Sacred Circle means to me. Every circle has a center. For me the Great Spirit, God, Wakan Tanka, or whatever you call the creator, is the center of the Sacred Circle. To me the circle is composed of individuals whose vision- aim--goal, is unity, justice, love, and peace for all of creation.I believe the Sacred Circle is a part of a bigger circle of life. I don't feel that being in the Sacred Circle we… Continue

Be a part of the solution.

Love and greetings to all of you that are in this Sacred Circle with me.
No doubt, occasionally, you receive an e-mail putting some one down. If you just delete the e-mail but don’t do anything about it, perhaps you are a part of the problem and not part of the solution. It seems to me to be a very simple first step that can be taken, and for me to be a part of the solution, is to respond to the sender saying that” I enjoy hearing from you, but please don’t send any more e-mails…
