Thank you to my Beloved Father, Phil Lane Jr., for presenting your inspirational, visionary, heartfelt, and passionate words to my Ethnic Studies Native American Philosophies class and to the community at Oregon State University on Wednesday evening. As always, you awe and humble me, with your knowledge and loving spirit. Your timely presentation brought full circle what began 75 years ago, with your father coming to OSU and 34 years ago with your coming to the Corvallis Sweat Lodge. Your path of purpose encourages, supports, and brings me hope for my future and that of our world and the Human Family. I love you! Your daughter, Shannon
