Geronimo with Dangling Eagle Feathers Native American Apache Earrings

Description: Geronimo earrings with eagle feathers measure 2.50 inches long including feathers by 1 inch wide. They are extremely light weight and can be worn even through the night without discomfort. Made from hand crafted hard acrylic and edged in gold leaf with surgical steel ear wires.

History: Geronimo or Goyathlay ("one who yawns") was born in 1829 in western New Mexico today, but was then still Mexican territory. One of the most pivotal moments in Geronimo's life was when he returned home after a trading excursion into Mexico. He found his wife, his mother and his three young children murdered. It was soon after this, that he received his medicine or mystical powers and became known as one of the most powerful Medicine men in history. There are many stories about his abilities to heal, to see future events, to walk without leaving footprints, and to be invulnerable to bullets. The web is full of his legend. I hope you take them time to learn more about him.
Inspiration: Since I was a young girl, I have had many visions or dreams of Geronimo. In each case he came to me as a protector. I believe that he continues to come into our earth realm to protect and help any who are being persecuted, victimized and under siege of any kind. I wear my Geromino jewelry as a constant reminder that I have help at all times.
Quote by Geronimo “There is one God looking down on us all. We are all the children of one God. The sun, the darkness, the winds are all listening to what we have to say.”
Artist: Paula Bidwell of Native Talisman Art is an American Indian artist, jeweler and author. Paula believes strongly that we are all related and there is very little separation between us. Her art resonates with all cultures and peoples.
