Description: These small Bahai earrings measure .75 inches diameter and are made from hand crafted hard acrylic. The edges have been gilded with 18K gold leaf. The ear wires are surgical steel. These earrings are so lightweight I forget I have them on.

Symbolism: The purpose of the symbol that appears on Bahai ringstones and other Bahai identity jewelry is a visual reminder of God's purpose for man, and for Bahai’s in particular. Bahai identity jewelry often is a conversation starter about the Faith and may be considered a teaching and proclamation aid. The ringstone symbol was designed by Abdu'l-Baha and rendered by Mishkin-Qalam, a close companion of His and the leading calligrapher of Persia. 
The Ringstone symbol used on this design is a reproduction of the original design by Mishkín-Qalam.
