I think I might have over done it, commenting on your post, then your comment also, but it tends to be harder than we realise, discerning cultural subtleties, between Australia and America, because we all speak English. But when in fact how we communicate, and the patterns we communicate in, are very much dominated by indigenous cultures, and Australian and American indigenous cultures have very starkly different patterns of what to say when. I tend to talk up more repeatatively when I feel worried others might doubt me, for example. Sorry for if I tread on anyone's toes. And thanks for befriending me in this website.
