Eduen - Putting U in the middle of Eden

Dome it! is actually part of the Eduen Federation - a collection of sustainable companies, technologies, individuals and innovations working together under one umbrella. Eduen - Putting U in the middle of Eden.

The idea is to build experiential, ecological teaching villages around the world. Each village will have some of the same components like dome/gardens and waste mangement facillities, but they will differ depending on which services each location can bare. Eduen has a buffet of alternative health and energy choices to consider when community planning.

Here is the initial vision for the first 33 acre Eduen slated for Gresham, Oregon.

Waldenthree has some valid points about community outreach. Dome it! is aware of the disconnect between Cyberspace and Soil. Our hope is to start shifting our cultural eating disorder by information distribution via the internet. We then capture those people to become active in our online community, supporting one another in more conscious consumption. On the local front we engage communities through the physical dome/garden projects we are gifting and the community process of interviewing perspective schools for dome/gardens.Our local PixelGigs sales teams can work with their school districts to raise funds for them individually. We also have some state-of-the-art cloud braodcasting capabilities that will allow us to blanket a community with our content, while we seek to embrace them in our process. Community TV has such a small, scattered following, that I'm not sure that I agree that it is energy well spent. We are looking for a mainstream Reality TV presence to bridge the gap between Cyberspace and Soil. Together, through this discussion we will create the best portal for community outreach and reach in!!!

I have seen your vision, but not sure how you plan to empower via 'community' connection in your own community where you are located first ?

You may wish to think about leveraging 'community tv media' to internet. Internet alone has a major drawback , it is not consistent with the human evolutionary heritage of small groups that is a part of human biology and dictates our cultural preferences. "Nature vs Nurture' still needs to be incorporated in any design to empower individual, family and community. If you don't then it is just another one of those 'political' process that hinges on mass thinking. in reality. To master the use of 'community tv media' takes time to do as to become a proficient electrical engineer or a scientist, first one has to make the commitment to get an engineering or science degree !

I have to see how you are planning to outreach the 'human resource' in your own geography first before you reach out to the whole world as you seem to be trying to do via a mass thinking process as is internet media . More clarity ?

Vision for Earth Tech ?

Your comment: Some of these technologies exist already and some are being develope…

Discussion: "Technology Innovation' is not a one dimenstional process. Tools, knoweldge, scial capital are key elements to develop 'virtual teams' for execution to (1) reduce health cost (via innovation) and (2) reduce energy cost (via innovation). The Stimulous Package (SP) grants were publically announced six months ago to state agencies to execute (1) and (2) via Private Public Partnership (PPP).

Connect "Vision for Eath Tech" to SP-PPP via actionable knowledge ?

The idea is to build experiential, ecological teaching villages around the world. Each village will have some of the same components like dome/garden............. And add live video feed and learning of the technologies that could be accessed by any school............ part of my vision...
