All life is sacred

A few days ago I heard a call from a bird trapped in my chimney breast ..... i called back ..... and wept, as there seemed no way to help them, until I got someone to make a hole in the wall and then I shined a light into the hole and waited patiently ..... I saw a tiny head peek through and I gently went and grasped the little bird and put it in a cat carrier with food and water ...... and then I heard another call, so I brought out the bird in the carrier and waited until sunrise and sure enough the other bird called and its sibling answered and after man hours I saw that the other chick was coming towards the light from the darkness of the  chimney ... and then I was able to free it and let it join its sibling .... and then I took them both to a Wildlife Sanctuary .... two little 3 week old jackdaws .... who will be cared for and when strong enough will be released back into the wild
