Prevention of Native Suicide Cowichan

Let us talk about native suicide, support and gain recognition for the mass suicides on Cowichan Reserve, British Columbia 2011-2012.

We seek funds to hold Public Forums to discuss access to mental health services, transportation issues,, counselling and therapy issues, translation supports and promote cultural sensitivity for native people who need it the most.

We want your support and assistance for attention to a topic which many reports and funding have been designated toward, massive research funding and transfer payments with strong administrative funds from one Organization and Government Agencies to another with little benefit for Preventing the high Suicide Rate of Cowichan Peoples! We would like to wake up our culture, and start working hand in hand with the people that face difficulties day to day!

We would like to hold open public forums to discuss native suicide. Helping us, would benefit the people for appropriate care and services for short-term and long-term initiatives.
