As the Earth continues to experience dramatic shifts of energy, we have the ability to make adjustments on the individual level that can have a powerful and positive affect on the energy we call Mother Earth.
My teacher Mahad'Yuni reminded us constantly that Mother Earth would go through important changes and that we would need to be prepared to do our part and participate in a conscious manner so that the changes would be as gentle as possible. Mahad'Yuni didn't believe in the "gloom and doom" school of thought, as far as the earth changes were concerned; however she was very clear that CHANGES would happen and they would be necessary. She was also very clear that we DO have a responsibility to not just stick our heads in the sand when the changes intensified, or give up, or get depressed, or impotently angry, etc.
Mahad'Yuni advised us to get busy taking care of ourselves, especially spiritually, so we would be ready, willing and able to do what we can with what we have. To that end, I am inviting you to participate in this consciousness shifting "rally".
While to some, this may seem like some kind of silly, too-little-too-late exercise, I believe the Elders and Holy People who have told us that when we gather together in One Heart/One Mind, we can do what we need to do.
We NEED to gather together NOW, more than ever, with every community with which we feel connected.
We need to do it now and we need to do it a lot.
So, here's the plan:
Before going to sleep at night, set your intention to REMEMBER that you want to do this.
Upon awakening, at whatever time of day that is for you, in whatever body position feels best to you, please pause to receive a few full, deep breaths...bring you awareness to your heart center and feel whatever you can become aware of in this place...if there is tension of any kind, allow it to release through the breath; if there is joy of any kind, allow it to expand through the breath.
Enjoy the feeling of aliveness and invite it to BE with you throughout the day ♥ (Placing your hands over your heart is a powerful way to ground the energy in your heart center.)
Then focus on the center of the Earth, become aware of your heart center connecting with the heart center of the Earth. Breath into this feeling and allow it to both deepen and expand - right through your center and out into the energy field that surrounds your body.
Then make a commitment to yourself to remember to do this throughout your day - especially in those moments when in the past you might have gotten tense or upset in some way.
NOTE: One useful technique to help us remember a particular thing in the midst of a busy day is to change our watch to the opposite arm so that when we go to look at it during the day, and it isn't where we expect it, we will remember that we wanted to remember something important: mindful breathing and simple centering.
If you don't wear a watch, move another piece of jewelry or wear an elastic band around a wrist for the same effect.
