Maitri Breathwork-A personal transformative experience...

Interact with your own inner-knowing in a safe, supportive environment. You can access healing states of consciousness, which allows entry into a deeper relationship with the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of your being.
Through the breathwork process, breathers are able to access and release old patterns and cellular memories that may be blocking personal growth. Once released from this unconscious material, people are enabled to engage more fluidly with life. Maitri Breathwork is an experience of entering into part of your being that is asking for healing. It puts the process o healing into your own hands. Experienced facilitators assist breathers in their process with sound, scent, verbal coaching, and hands-on bodywork.
The images that come to people in such non-ordinary states as breathwork often arise as symbols and archetypal imagery. Working more deeply with these archetypal symbols after breathing can be very provocative, revealing more information than the initial encounter provided, similar to dream re-entry. The artwork and/or journaling created after breathwork "catches" some of the meaning of the experience, like visual shorthand, and can be used later as a personal tool to work further with the material that arose in your breathing experience.
Our day will consist of opening circle; we will then partner and have one breathing session, light lunch, second breathing session, closing circle and dinner.
Preparation: Please eat lightly or not at all before arriving. Drink plenty of water.
What to bring: sleeping bag or warm blanket, water bottle, journal.
Wear warm, loose comfortable clothing.
