Event Description

11th International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers

"Gratitude Brings Freedom"

11th Council Gathering in honor of Grandmother Margaret Behan and all her Cheyenne-Arapaho people.

The 13 Indigenous Grandmothers gather in each others' homelands to circle the globe with prayers of peace. They honor the hosting Grandmother and her people by marking the days with prayer ceremonies, healings and cultural exchange with the first nation peoples of the region. They join with people from around the world to strengthen our web of relations.
