The Four Worlds International Institute

A Jordanian friend sent this link to our family.

It is such a beautiful gesture of hope - a celebration of our cherished relations.

As a little background -- This musical collaboration was created to honor a day that both the Muslim and Christian communies in Lebanon could celebrate together. So many of people have been inspired by this effort and feel this as a gesture towards world peace ... and there are those who have a difficult time listening to this as they are still healing the memories of civil war.

On a personal note, I wish to honor the first person who sat with me in complete and unconditional love. She is a beautiful Arab woman from Lebanon. She travelled the path into her wounding and healed her life. She in turn, with grace and beauty - held the space for me so that I too could heal.

For me, there was a lot of wounding around religion & the church - I share this with you because I know I am not alone...

Personally I hold no position when it comes to faith.
I am learning day by day, simply to hold the position of love.

I hope you can join in this prayer,

May we find the path that leads to our hearts.
May we learn to recognize, accept and heal the wounds of the past.
May we learn to love ourselves and each other....
as we move towards unity and peace.
