Greetings Deloria, The reason it has taken me so long to answer your nice letter, Phil had sent me a picture of you at one of his ceremonies and you had on the ribbon dress that I had made for you. In the past I had the stupid habit of putting a picture that I received in a book that i was reading at the time. Now I can't find the pic. I will send you a copy when I find it. I think it was patterned after my dark maroon print with small pink flowers and green leaves ribbon dress. Thanks for the connect. Love, Velma
Aho Sister!!!!! Very good to hear from you and know you are still out there making a difference. They finally figured out a way to get to me and James Logan so we no longer are allowed to run that class but at least we got it going and the class is still being run. I know the people running the class now so it's good that way. What they decided to get rid of us using criminal background checks. My last arrest was 30 years ago but they still used it to get rid of us on campus anyway. This month is very busy for me but I will be part of the ceremony on day of a thousand drums and I fully support it. Will be going to Colville Rez for a healing ceremony with Yvonne Swan. "and" I am being honored at Bob Robideau's memorial. I'm also preparing for Sundance again at Rosebud with Uncle Leonard at Crowdog's Paradise in August. Please get back with me and we will talk more as I have many Ideas that I want to share with you to help all of our people. Toksha Ake, Nikoda Michael
Yes things are coming together. I am getting my degree in Network Administration,AAS then I am going for a bachelor's in Network Security. Your dad and I are talking about working for him. Wouldn't that be cool!?!
My dear darling niece, You are such a honor to the family in the work that you are doing. You are a bright ray of light in a darkening world. Keep shining. The prayers are what keep that flame burning. You are assured of my prayers for your safety and happiness. Love, Auntie
Dear Deloria, Perhaps you don't remember me. We met in a room where I was staying while attending on of your father's workshops in Lethbridge, Canada. I had made an Indian ribbon dress for you, just like one of mine, and I gave it to you then. A lot of time has passed since then. Your father kept me up on your activities over the years. You were a beautiful little girl . From your picture and an account of you present projects, you have grown even more beautiful. I still keep up with Phil and his family. I pray that the Great Spirit will always guide you and make your work prosper to benefit all of creation.
I send you much love and respect. Velma
Hello D., good to see you are starting to get this off the ground. Thought I'd tell you that with the comming of the school season once again, I think it would be great if our students from Park Rose High School's Native Culture Class could hook up with students in this digital youth council like one day out of the month. We only have class on wednesday's so it's limited unless I can convince the school how important this can be for our students. We will be up and running in september with alot of other things to work on but I think this will go over well with staff and students alike. We might even be able to work it into our new A.I.M. Youth Council too. Get with me sister and let's do our kids a favor. Nikoda Michael Oneroad
Hey~
Life is inspirational. I just returned from Vision Quest camp. We put 6 Sun Dancers up on the hill. Tending Fire for them was an Honor. I look forward to hearing more about the digital youth council. Our dance is in it's 2nd year. Charles Fast Horse, intercessor, is welcoming any Sun Dancer to join us in Taylorsville CA. Dates:August 7-16; Tree Day is the 11th. I personally invite you to join us. And bring your friends. ~G

Aho tanksitku ; It was waste to here back from you Deloriamgh. I'm kinda busy getting ready to go to Uncle Leonard's dance at Rosebud but I will take the time to keep in touch as much as I can before I go. Here's something for you, my mom grew up at Yankton so you might ask if they remember Dorothy Nancy Oneroad ( She is Dorothy Ackerman now) I try to live my life close to these old ways and pass them down to our younger relations as much as possible. I'm now Sgt. of Arms of our portland chapter and wev'e started a culture class at one of the High Schools here. I thought it was important to share what we know with them so they will be better leaders in our futures. You mentioned a program for your youth but I don't understand what you mean by Digital youth? I'm really not computer savy so I'm just trying to learn your terms. Tell me more about it so I can better understand as sometimes I feel like dense or something. So write me back and who knows, maybe I know someone that can help in your area. Much love and prayers, Toksha Ake, Michael Oneroad
Hon-Dah,Yah-ta-hei,&Osiyo It is good to "meet" you. I do not get on line too often as I must (for now) use batteries to power the machine.... Working on getting the solar array up but it is taking time (as all good things do)so, for now

I like your page and your project seems to be successful. It's wonderful that you can brief the world inside your page. It's a magic, that we all can be in the same hoop. I will try to update my work in my page. And please keep in touch. Hope that you will have some more project to do in Thailand.
