Thank you so much for inviting me in with your comment. I certainly agree with standing for justice and unity, and have joined to learn and stand in this movement toward unity. I am reading your sacred circle blog, and am already learning some things. Thank you for sharing.

Bullies are such great teachers. Part of the lessons we can learn from them is about our own issues with limit-setting and also, ability to just say "no" to those who would plaster their energies, good bad or indifferent, onto us.
Sometimes what a bully says is so shocking, it knocks the wind out of us and the words from our mouths. We need to learn to block that from happening, and to be able to speak immediately, to say something that diffuses, and performs a side-step to avoid yet another "hit".
Your words [I enjoy hearing from you, but do not contact me again] can do that....or words to that effect.

Dear Velma,
Many thanks for responding. I guess this means I've been accepted by FWII. What led me to this site was that I was looking for the meaning of toad medicine because i have had toads visiting and living in my garden all spring and summer. Frog is one of my totems, so I wanted to see the similarities. That said, FWII's purpose is mine also...I am not a "joiner", so this is very meaningful for me.

Dear Velma,
Thank you for welcoming me into this circle. I was moved to join when I read Phil Lane's vision about the Eagle in the North and the Condor in the South on my Facebook page. I resonate with earth-centered/sacred ways. I appreciate your post on Sacred Circle. I teach a class to native elders and youth called Circle of Life ~ Mapping One's Story. It's an inspiration from my own spiritual journey. You can see more info and photos at my website: www.communitythreads.net. I'm grateful to know you and welcome more conversation.

Thank you for the welcoming sharing, Velma. It is wonderful to be here, amongst many... and so fitting you would be the first to post on my page, as I do love the name Velma as it was shared by my maternal grandmother, whom I love dearly. Joyous Blessings! ~ Leslie

5 of us from our SiStars of the Moon Sacred Circles are travelling to Oregon for the Benefit for Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim this weekend in Oregon. Grandmother Aggie is truly a blessing to us and often reminds us we are all Water Babies and to take care and bless the water.
