Four Phases of Conquest
1. Genocide: “deliberate and intentional destruction in whole or in part of an ethnic, racial, religious or national group.” (Wikipedia)
FEAR of Survival
2. Conversion: take away sacred-SELF within natural order context
SHAME & GUILT
Codependency: event/process/relationship addiction – lying to survive
Trans-generational Unresolved Anger becomes Displaced anger:
Domestic violence – family unit
Interpersonal violence – general population
Lateral violence – striking out at anyone in proximity
3. Domestication: boarding school and urban relocation
LOSS: Trans-generational trauma & wounded-ness – unresolved ANGER
Mal-adaptive use of alcohol and other drugs
Chemical Dependency: ingestion/substance addiction – numbing the pain
4. Exploitation: of Indigenous land & resources
Victimization: SELF DESTRUCT
Using 5-senses as weapon against sacred-SELF * and others.
*Definition: Air-spiritual; Fire-mental; Water-emotive; Earth-physical; Corn as symbol of food-social/economic well being.
5. Remembering and Awakening Conscience in Indigenous Ceremony: HOPE for healing the Indian Nations
Please allow me to ask a question which I have searched for over 12 years for its answer.
In 1997, a dear friend of mine dying from cancer and finally slipped into a comma. During his final weeks each Friday afternoon, I would drive to his hospital and read to him aloud from books. About a week before he passed away, as I was reading aloud, my friend suddenly opened his eyes and sat straight up in his bed, turned and looked directly into my eyes! With a huge smile upon his face, he spoke these words. "The Creator of the Universes has awakened me to bring you a very important message. You need to know that you are the Keeper of the Water." He went on to say, "very soon, the world is to enter a time of great change. You, Shlomo (my friend was a Jewish Rabbi and had given me this Hebrew name) came into this time for this very reason. Shlomo, you were created for these end-times. Remember, you are the Keeper of the Water."
I was shocked and so awed by my friend's sudden awakening, his unassisted ability to sit himself straight up in bed, and by the clarity and authority of his words, it took several seconds to stop staring at him with my mouth open and speechless! Regaining my composure, I watched my friend gently lie himself back down, close his eyes and slip back into a comma. I put my arms around him and asked several times what the Keeper of the Water meant. I begged for an answer. I cried. A week later he died.
The internet was in its early stages in 1998 but I still searched the web for answers or simply a clue to what the Keeper of the Water means. My search was futile.
A couple of years later in 1999, a friend, and I were on vacation visiting Santé Fe, New Mexico. I had shared this story with him, as I had done with all my close friends. On this particular day, we decided to eat lunch at a restaurant that allowed for outdoor eating. As we were enjoying our lunch and the beautiful scenery a woman walked by our table, continued up the road a few steps, turned back around, and walked directly up to our table. She did not hesitate to look at me and say, "You know already that you are the Keeper of the Water. I am a second witness to this information. It is vitally important that you immediately contact the Hopi Nation and tell them that you have had two witnesses of you being the Keeper of the Water." My friend actually dropped his fork and I leaped to my feet in hopes of FINALLY getting answers. Instead, she wished us a nice day and walked off as if nothing happened.
With renewed vigor, I searched the internet for Hopi contacts. For at that time in life, I knew very little if anything about the Hopi. After several weeks of intense searching, I found an email address of a woman who said she was Hopi. Her name was Barbara Hand Crow. I wrote her my story and asked if she could help me understand the meaning of the Keeper of the Water and if it meant anything to the Hopi. Weeks passed and I never heard back from her.
I had almost forgotten the woman in Santé Fe and even the email to Barbara Hand Crow. Over 2 months passed. One day while driving through the mountains of Colorado my cell phone rang. On the other end of the conversation, I heard these words, "My name is Craig Carpenter, and I am one of the official spokespersons for the Hopi Nation. I have been lecturing in Germany; however, a week ago I received an urgent message from Barbara Hand Crow presenting me with your story." He asked if he could ask me some personal questions. I agreed he could. I had no idea that his total stranger was about to ask me questions that only I knew, or my parents. He asked me if I was born with an elongated head and without a forehead. I answered yes. He asked me if I spoke an unknown language as a child BEFORE I spoke English. I said yes. He asked me if I could still speak in this unknown language. I said yes. He asked me if I have always thought my parents were not my real parents. I said yes. He asked me as a small boy did I have a nightly "friend or teacher" who would instruct me telepathically. I said yes.
By this time, I was almost hyperventilating! I asked him how he knew all these things about me. That is when he asked me to write down my complete life's story, no matter how strange or insignificant I thought events might sound, to write down everything. He told me that the Hopi Elders did not have email or telephones and once he received a hard copy of my life's story, he was personally going to present it to the Hopi Elders for review. I did as he asked and mailed it to his home in Phoenix.
A couple of weeks later Craig called me and said that the Hopi Elders had summoned me to appear before them and go into a sweat lodge with them as they called upon my spirit guides (Never understood this part). I said it would take time for me to arrange for time-off from work and save up money for travel expenses. Craig insisted that he go with me but first he and his wife had to return to Germany for several weeks of lectures. It all seemed to be perfect timing. Unfortunately, that was the last time I ever heard from Craig Carpenter. I was so disappointed and disillusioned! Maybe Craig was simply an old-senile man for he was 82 years old when he spoke to me. Nevertheless, to this day, I still cannot understand how he, a total stranger know such intimate details of my life!
Over the past years I have tried many times to contact the Hopi Nation and never heard anything back. I am sure the Hopi must hear all sorts of weird, new age crap from around the world. Maybe, my story is exactly that... new age hype or the hallucinations of a dying man. God knows, I have tried to find answers.
I am not looking for wealth or fame. I KNOW we are living in the very end of days. I KNOW that very soon our galactic brother and sisters will fully disclose themselves to the earth. (They have communicated to me for many years in my dreams). I KNOW 2012 marks the end of duality and the beginning of full-enlightenment for those of us that choose. What I do not know is this: What is the Keeper of the Water? Am I the Keeper of the Water? Obviously, the message was important enough for the Creator to awaken a man from a comma to tell me and then again from a stranger 2 years later. Why did Craig Carpenter come into my life and know me so intimately?
Bottom-line: I want to serve others with or without being the Keeper of the Water. Nevertheless, if I am the Keeper of the Water and I have a mission to fulfill with the Hopi.... I am here to offer myself and my gifts in love and service.

Following Kathryn Donald's words "Following the Honor Way became my focus and passion an is my joy... I practice bringing honor back to all my relations, to myself, my dreams and my vision."
We can no longer be in pain or fear, even as appearances challenge us. We all should remember the power of our inner self and visualize what we want the world to turn into, we all can do it by keeping ourselves in the high frequency vibrations we are able to generate, as joy, love, happiness, positive thinking, affirmations of wellness for us, for nature, for animals, for Mother Earth. Each one of us has a job and is this, we can do really a miracle and be that generation of the prophecy that will return honor, not just for the native peoples but also for the twolegged. CARMEN FUNCIA
Topic: SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES: By permission, I offer Silversong's Story of Honor Day and the Honor Way to inspire and demonstrate how someone just like us, could identify a challenge, develop and act on a dream of how to solve it. She believes that WE are the generation as mentioned in the prophecy, who will see all these converging challenges, and will see our children suffering and will be the ones to bring back the Native HONOR WAY to all people and the earth.
Starting when she was a child, Silversong noticed the challenges you outlined and asked her elders the underlying questions, Why aren't people nice to each other? and What’s missing to build a life
we love in a world we love to live in?: In almost every conversation that I remember, HONOR was mentioned as what was missing."
We ALL areTHE GENERATION! So we warmly invite you to being part of the solution by bringing back the Native HONOR WAY in your lives, support HONOR DAY and please join our gathering at the Aug 22 HONOR CIRCLE GATHERING www.honorday.org

The Story of Honor Day and the Honor Way by Silversong
In my birthplace of Alberta, Canada in 1944, there was only one minority group ‐
Native Indians. We were expected to assimilate into the white culture and abandon
our origins and our people in order to succeed. When quite young I became aware of
two distinctive aspects of life ‐ the physical world we see, and the creative power of
unseen forces: love, thought, intent, and vision. I saw that Native awareness of the
unseen forces could be lost through assimilation, so I committed to learning and
applying the Native's way to keep the two worlds in balance. I did not want to lose
the Native tradition, but to find out how to do all I could to preserve the Natural
Way.
Some of the primary traditions of North American Native Indians are honoring,
humility, giving, gratitude, and having a vision for future generations. This is a way
of life that is in harmony with all forms of life: other people, future generations,
animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, rocks and the earth, sky, sun and moon. We
are connected to all these other aspects of Creation. All of Creation are worthy of
Honor because we all share a common kinship within the Hoop of Life.
Honoring, is acting with deep caring, respect and compassion toward our selves and
for all other beings on the planet, for future generations, and for the earth. We are a
part of it all. For Native peoples honoring is central to our way of life and our
ceremonies. We have traditions, prophecies, stories and songs about the Honor Way
and honoring.
My research has been through oral tradition with Elders, Medicine People, teachers,
leaders and artists for over 45 years. Since I was a child, I was always asking them
questions like, "Why aren't people nice to each other?" and "What’s missing to build a life
we love in a world we love to live in?". In almost every conversation that I remember,
HONOR was mentioned as what was missing.
The Elders said that in the modern world they noticed that the Honor Way was not
used. They noticed a lack of Honor for our selves, for women, for Mother Earth, for
animals, for plants, for each other, for Elders, for relationships and for treaties and
promises. There is a lack of Honor when personal, political, and business decisions
are made that do not consider the well being of present and future generations.
There is a lack of Honor for individual and religious rights of others. It has been said
that this country was formed to allow people to worship in their own ways without
persecution, yet the right to openly practice Native spirituality and ways only came
in 1976, with the passage of the American Indian Religious Freedom Act.
For Native people one of the deepest wounds is lack of Honor. Having experienced
the devastation of Native peoples first hand, I saw how often we implode rather
than explode. Rather than attack another, in our humiliation and shame we tend to
destroy ourselves. I have been told that since Honor has been missing for our
people, that drugs and alcohol are being used to fill the void.
I was taught that one way to live the Honor Way is through living your passion, and
that the door to your spirit is through your deepest pain or your greatest joy.
One way to know your life's purpose is to find your deepest pain, or your greatest
joy, and there you will find what is missing for the world… this can become your
purpose and passion.
This Lack of Honor in the world is the source of my deepest
pain, so following the Honor Way became my focus, my mission and passion, and is
my joy.
I practice bringing Honor back to All My Relations, to myself, to my dreams and my
visions. Yet, Honor and honoring is such an intangible formless concept, that I
wondered for a long time, How could this Honoring Way be returned to all people?
Then I remembered, and many will still remember the prophecy, One day there will
be a generation that will see mother earth suffering but especially when they see their
children suffering. It is that generation that will return honor; not just for the Native
peoples but also for all twolegged.
It was evident to all of us that the Mother Earth
needed our help, and we could see the suffering of our children. This made me think
that maybe WE are the generation that the ones of long ago spoke about, who will
return to the Honor Way.
Eventually the idea of having Honor Day as a recognized holiday came into focus.
Honor Day preserves the Native American Indian value of Honor, inviting all people,
faiths, cultures and traditions to share the Honor Way. A holiday that includes the
Native American Indian Way of Honoring would inspire all people in the same way
as holidays of Martin Luther King Day, Kwanza and Christmas do. Many efforts over
the years have been made to have a recognized National Native Indian day with no
lasting results from the federal government. When I asked the elders about how best
to make this happen they advised me, The government is not the nation, the people
are. Go to the people. That is why we are asking people to sign petitions to make
Honor Day a recognized annual holiday.
I thought it would take a powerful Indian leader to lead the way to restoring honor. I
spoke with many highly prominent Indian leaders about creating Honor Day. They
encouraged me to lead the way. This is where I pondered my plight. I did not see
myself as a powerful person. I am an artist and it is the job of the artist to articulate
what is in the soul. I pressed on. I took comparative religions classes and noticed
how often God speaks to the people who are not in positions of power‐ like the
shepherd in the field. I could see that regular people with powerful ideas can make
big changes in the world. I began to see my lack of a powerful position was an
obstacle only if I allowed it to be. So I followed my dream.
Native tradition taught me that a dream is transformed into physical reality by
speaking it to the hearts of others in a large gathering, meeting or event. If the
dream is meant to have wings it will fly. On January 22, 2000 there was a Treaty Day
play held at the Lummi Indian Nation near Bellingham, Washington, USA. There
were hundreds of people present. Gathering all the courage I could, I stood before
the people and delivered my message suggesting, Maybe WE are the generation that
the ones of long ago talked about, who would return the Honor Way to Humanity!
I proposed that we hold an annual Honor Day Circle Ceremony, which would be A
gift from Native America, transforming the world, by invitation, through the Honor
Way. This was the first step toward a federally recognized Holiday.
The first Honor Day was held at the Lummi Nation in 2000 on August 20; the date
chosen because it is the birthday of the "Miracle", the sacred White Buffalo Calf.
Honoring circles can be created any day of the year. Everyone’s support of Honor
Day and the Honor Way is awe‐inspiring. It is so strong that today many, many
people now observe it, and are honoring everyday. Individuals, families, groups, and
communities are joining us in making history by making their circles and reporting
back to us. We have reports of Honor Day circles being observed in Poland, England,
France, Greece, Sweden, Russia, and Canada. We vision 10,000 circles around the
world. People tell us that have been deeply moved and strengthened by Honor Day
and the act of honoring.
By sharing the Honor Way through ceremonies, we are bringing best traditions and
values from the ancient ones of Native America for present and future generations.
Together we are changing the dynamics of the world ‐ bringing positive actions,
values, and inspiration.
When we Honor the Spirit of Place of Mother Earth, and each other, then we can use
the skills, gifts, and talents of humanity in a good way to solve the many tasks
needed to give our children a safe, healthy future that they will love.

Silversong writes: Dedicated to my mother, Anne Larson, nee Desjarlais, (1921‐ 2005) who was of Cree, Blackfoot, and Scottish heritage. She is the inspiration for, and source of my work. Her deeply held feeling was that the highest calling and the best education a human being could get is through caring. Even though
she had lived in boarding schools and foster homes she found and maintained a keen sense of herself.
She told me, "The only opinion you need to fear is the one YOU have of yourself." She was Native, and
that made her different, she saw uniqueness as holy, something that she could share with
humankind. Together, as mother and daughter, the love we carried is the source of my inspiration.
We shared the most intimate conversations two people can have. She had a perspective on the past,
was spontaneous in the moment, while visioning that which she chose to make manifest. She was a
remarkable and wise woman who gave shelter, food and clothing to many people, and gave them a
reason to smile and to hope. She is always just a thought away, where expansion and creativity begin.
She is reminding me that nothing is written in stone, that we all are learning about life together.

Are not religions and faith's based on prophesy? Are these tales of doom spoken to put fear in the children to control the imagination? What you dwell upon you become. I have not heard one good prophecy. I believe we must begin to dream together something revolutionary like Chief Phil Lane's Fourth Way.
Right now everyone is trying to figure out how to be a better human being. That is the main motive, evolution. If you study and think for yourself you will no longer have a need to be led. If you read and learn and take care of your body exercise and eat right your imagination will fill your spirit. Each one of us was born out of goodness. Believe you are good. Just make a decision every one is good. If everyone felt that someone felt that way about them then there would be a great feeling of positivity in a world that is giving each and everyone of us a clean slate every morning to begin a good day.

The thoughts I share are because in my awakening I am continually going through a process of having memories downloaded, memories from before time, memories why I chose as a spirit being to come have this human experience. I lay no claim that others should see like me, but I have thoughts on why the prophecies carry so much doom and gloom.
In my memory we were gods and goddesses, spirit beings, and as in this dimension so too there were we a collective energy, (even though I have distinct memories of swimming through the sky to distant galaxies and visiting friends.) It was my Unicorn companion who sang the song that restored the memory of while visiting the campsite of a friend, there was a spirit tree there that I saw radiating so beautifully. and the Unicorn said that in the time one would think of as sleep here I awoke to discover that the spirit tree had shimmered over so that I was resting against its body. The Unicorn said that it was in this moment that he /she watched me conceive the idea that I wanted to manifest a world that was solid so I could hug that tree..
We were a collective soul, and I cannot say I was was the first, or the 3rd or the hundreth to have that thought, just that that thought passed through us, and then we gathered to draw out the details of how we would do this..
The next memories were given to me by the thunder beings, that I passed all the way through Lemuria, changed vehilces and passed all the way through Atlantis singing a creation song as a cloud being in a wagon made of clouds. Others too singing there creation songs of what we were going to manifest.
from there the memories move into a place were it came time to remove the god and goddess codes from our being so that we could manifest a world of solid touch and hug and love in a new way. My memories are not that Atlantis sunk. My memories are that as we removed the god and goddess codes that those who went first could no longer see us, and they kind of drifted away, like far above us, their new world formed over the top of us. and the paths we took on a regular basis to sing the sacred knowledge into the beings that became the crystals, well those paths became the caves we know today dwelling below the surface.
Now the journey after we removed the god and goddess codes, I would say did not come out like we expected. I would say it was abit more scary than we thought. And being a collective soul we manifested a world in which we didn't always feel safe... We traveled to the fartherest point away from who were were.. but before we did we had built in reactivation codes..
However in traveling to the fartherest point meant coming into the denseness of a world of solid, which we had thoroughly meant to enjoy, but forgot..... It is here in the state of forgetfulness that I believe the seers, prophets and dreamers saw what was coming, and painted the prophecies with such gloom.
In the state of forgetfulness we could not remember that we were gods and godesses, a collective soul creating the world before us, and creating the pathway back to our sacred selves. I think that what they saw was so different that for most of them it appeared to be something horrid, and alls they could hold was this distant memory that something wonderful was soon to be upon us.. I think it was very difficult to see through to that, and that is why the prohecies are so full of gloom.
I believe that the modern technology what of our design to reactivate our god and goddess codes. Like I believe that the telephone had to come to remind us that we are telepathic beings.. and all the lines of communication running across the ground were to remind us we are a collective soul able to communicate with each other telepathically, that our energy forms a web of love communication between us, and all the voices traveling across the lines were meants to show us our ability to change the world, that we can use it to destroy all that is sacred or we can use it to create something something beautiful and better..
Those are my thoughts..
I also believe that there are many many many of us who came to rewrite the prophecies, to say with a loud collective voice that we choose to manifest a smoother more loving transition..
Like one of the visions I hold is being in an Indian village where those who rise automatically get up and begin preparing the camp for the new day.... where it is a sacred song the sleepers hear as they gently wake up, step out of their electric wig wams and step up to the plate to help.....
This is how I believe I am supposed to hold the energy in the face of so many prophecies of gloom and doom. What person would run to a person who was having a nightmare and try to scare them further? No that is now how it is done in a collective energy of love between the villages. It would be far more kinder gentler to hold them softly within a prayer while singing softly and waiting for them to find their path inside the song so they can awaken..
so that is how I believe the energy should be held in a sacred manner..
