It's not often I am involuntarily brought to tears and have "chicken skin" (as we say in Hawaii) while watching a video on my laptop. Wow. Become a Visionary. Energy Follows Thought.

What a wonderful message to start 2010 with; I cried my heart out listening to it. At last, at last, free at last!

Not only is it possible, it is happening already! Look around you, start focusing on what is, not on the isn't. If you want to make something happen, YOU have to make it happen :) Do it now. Just think it. Or feel it. Or both.
Wonderful video! I got chills while reading it, which to me is always a sign of connecting with my spirit.

How grateful I am to live NOW, at this very moment on this Planet! I am longing to change the World, to stop the suffering of many people all around the globe. And yes, 2010 will be the year in which I can truely bring more harmony. I feel the power of thoughts, and this video confirms it strongly, so I share my thoughts with you ALL and let you know I think about One World, One Mind (Bob Marley), Imagine all the people living in Peace (John Lennon), Love shines like a revolution (Live). I will create in the most ultimate way and share it with everyone in love and abundance. Bless you all and thanks again for the amazing viedo.

Very beautiful example,, of how wonderful it can become, after all the excruciating inner and outer work we have suffered is completing. Interesting how the words being sung complemented the words on the screen. My heart loved it! I am very hopeful that we will realize this in the very near future.

"This coming year is a time to shed the perception of trouble and strife, and exchange that vision for one of transformation, growth, sharing and envisioning the new reality you are striving for."

If this is what passes for clear thinking, we're in big trouble.
1) A perception is not a vision.
2) A perception of trouble and strife is not a vision - it's a perception.
3) Because it's not a vision, it's not mutually exclusive with a vision of transformation, etc.
4) In other words, this statement asserts a false duality. The perception of strife and trouble is not mutually exclusive with holding a vision of a more positive future.
5) This statement also reinforces the largely unconscious social conspiracy against confronting the difficult realities that face us. It has become common to speak in nebulous generalities about the "power of positive thinking" and "anything you desire strongly will manifest in your life", as if positive thinking, visioning, dreaming and desire is all that it takes. Whatever happened to risk and diligent effort/work? Energy may follow thought, but it's going to take a lot more to effect fundamental cultural change. And one more thing. Before we can change it, we have to take responsibility for it. We have to say: "I'm part of what created this, and so I have some power to change it by changing my behavior."
6) So my admonition is: "Be prepared to take responsibility for the cost of living in a culture of domination"
7) And so part of waking up is getting real. I would assert that a perception of what is, including all the stuff we like and don't like, gives us more power to enact any vision we might have. Remaining in denial, especially of what we find abhorrent, is a prescription for powerlessness. An awareness of what we don't like is the beginning of understanding of what sources what we don't like, which then gives us more power to change what we don't like - that is, to enact our vision of a more life-affirming reality.

"We are only giving you the potential of what you are most inclined to do;"
- Sorry, you don't give me any potential. A potential is, by definition, something that I already have.

If it becomes harder to hide "truth" in 2010, for most, it will be because it has become too painful and too impossible to live the old lies.

For my prediction for the coming year, I'll quote Langston Hughes:

"What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?"

I believe that we are beginning to discover our true selves…to remember why we came back into the body at this time. I have felt a difference in myself increasingly over the past year or so and once we have come to the New Year it seems that I have come alive spiritually, mentally and I am not afraid even in the face of tremendous change that would usually be frightening. I have had dreams and spiritual experiences that I find incredible or at least I did just a short time ago. I know others who are experiencing the same kinds of things. I feel as if I am caught in a great rushing river. I feel compelled to work toward a future like none I could have imagined before and I feel that I am in the company of others with the same vision and motivation. This is a message of “possibilities” as it says in the beginning; I say “carpe diem” let’s seize the day!
