The Four Worlds International Institute

Filmed in 1986 by the late Choctaw Film Maker, Phil Lucas, Healing the Hurts, started the Fire that ignited the Canadian Residential School Healing Movement. What unfolded at Alkali Lake during those Four Days was not Staged, It HAPPENED AS IT HAPPENED!

This dynamic and heartfelt video was the first to document the devastating impacts of the Native Canadian and Native American Boarding Schools that dramatically shattered Aboriginal cultures, children, families and communities throughout North America. Viewers join Indigenous participants from Canada and the United States, during a four-day, culturally-based, healing process, as it happens, for understanding and recovering from this type of traumatic experience.

Yes, the time is here to heal the outcome of European oppression.  The stories reach all people.  The time is here for shared compassion, nurturing, and love to heal all there is.  Radiate through the heart to illuminate with high frequency for fill the Earth with Light.  Abundant Blessings.

Thank you so much for making this available for everyone to watch.  He gave us a copy to show when he came for one of the Gathers in Missouri.  Many could not watch it.  Some only part.  People need to know the truth to be able to heal and for others to have the compassion to let them work through their pain to heal and be supportive.  So much was taken and done that can't be taken back.  Prayers always for healing.  (Used to have the copy he gave me, but sent it to a woman in Canada years past for a women's healing group to have.  Thinking she was in Manitoba?  Too far back to remember.  Always hoped it helped them.)

Thank you!

Breaking spirits is deeply egregious.  This work to heal, long overdue!

Those who went to boarding schools far from family and community, Even if some were well-treated, still massively lost, because they were so far from family, community and Spiritual roots.

Those who meant to do good by taking children [and some did mean to do good], and those who were just nasty pieces of work, were themselves, destroyed by the system they were birthed into.    Sick, damaged people cannot help or save others, cannot make good moral or ethical choices, cannot walk a good path, because they cannot yet see or heal the sickness inside themselves, and have not done the work to get better.

Those sick people running the world, need healed; those generations of people who repeatedly committed genocides and holocausts, only know how to keep repeating that mess, until they are also healed.

For that, we all must work to heal the best we can, from as close to the Roots as we can.

This program is a very good start.   Blessed Be!
