#S15 OWS Solidarity Gathering: Dakota & Chickasaw Brother Phil Lane Jr.

Occupy Vancouver began its #S17 Occupy solidarity events with a Gathering to reflect and plan for the future. The keynote speaker was was Brother Phil Lane Jr,. Ihanktonwan Dakota and Chickasaw Nations.In a speech that touched people's core, Brother Phil drove home the idea of being principle-based and addressed the 1% in a manner that includes the spiritual sickness of greed and materialism!! . He then led Occupy Vancouver attendees into Talking Circles, with the support of Aboriginal Talking Circle Leaders that left men and women in tears. Thanks to Brother Phil for helping Occupy move to working with a principle-centered, collaborative, sustainable and harmonious path.

I also agree with Inelia Benz' understanding: that Mother Earth has already become her higher form and she is waiting for us to catch up; but she fully loves and respects each and every one of her children's timing to do so; and what can we do as a collective human family in order to raise our consciousness is to stop "fighting against" whatever the dark/negative issue is and do this exercise: imagine putting the negative thing/person on a seat in a room, and WITHOUT FEAR or JUDGMENT, walk around it, look at it deeply, and then fully embrace it in Love and Light as you expand the latter as far as you can outwards. It is only by Love, by walking through the darkness/negativity and infusing it with Light and Love, can we overcome brothers and sisters.

Yes -- and we gotta take these circle principles and totally transform our entire national (global/regional, you-name-it) politics -- probably along the lines of Barbara Marx Hubbard's "SynCon" concept -- "SYNergetic CONvergence".
