this is going to be the focus of my studies in graduate school, i am going for my masters in rehabilitation and counseling,
i have already submitted a tentative study proposal for initial review on the subject of how intergenerational trauma is still in the communities of the native americans, i want to study the effects on this traumas effects on even the children

It is so good to see this discussion emerging here.... this is such a painful chapter in our history, may it be that we can heal in ways that bring us all together.

LOL! 36 ten minute videos.....uh.....that will take many many days for me on this slow dial up connect we have. I can't thank you enough for going to Chemawa & speaking as you did.
That you walked into yourself by taking a stand in regards to your own faith with your family. For taking a stand for the survivors & their families.
You worked very hard to get where you're at today & your visions are a blessing for many.
And your professor has taken so well to you & is doing all he can to help you open places for our people to go.
Many are still alive who were forced to these schools, but my Mom, she Walked On early 2001, so she is not here to participate, but I am a survivor of a survivor. She was forced to Chemawa, along with her three siblings. Am ever grateful she never brought any of the abuse back with her to give to her children. She was a wonderful woman who is greatly missed.
Anyway, enough babbling in your ear. Just wanted to send my sincere appreciation.

to find the complete journey of forgiveness event from the chemawa indian school on may 16th, go to youtube and do a search for journey for forgiveness pt 1 to pt 36

yea, it will take the better part of the day to watch the complete chemawa journey event because there are 36 ten minute videos

This may take a better part of the day to see this video, but giving it my best so I can ssee & hear this. Wish I could have been there at Chemawa. Thanks for all you do!
