Hello Phil Lane:
I am enjoying this site, and your work. In 1992 I was blessed to have attended a Four Worlds Institute Healing conference in Calgary. My husband died that year and I had my two girls, left BC for a ride to nowhere in particular. As it is with Divine Interevntion I came across a few friends down in Lethbridge who gave me a pass to the conference.
In one of the session there I was fortunate to have been "worked" on by yourself and some faciltators. I never forgot the healing power of that moment. That strength of Spirit has been with me ever since. Thank you again from my heart.

Cool! We'll have to catch up and I shall introduce you to my business partner Sylvia Schmidt. I was telling her yesterday that I am so inspired by how you can walk in the Spirit world, and do business. I find it really hard to balance. There's a book in that, dear Chief!
Thank you for the welcoming friend request. Please accept my offer too to join us at HOOP - Honoring Our Own Power as it feels as though there may be a synergy among our efforts and we should support one other.
I hope that all finds you and your's well? I am ready to work, I have still been out here doing what has to be done, but now I am ready.
I believe you still have my number if not: 206-240-6395
ha-we ko-wa wi-ta,
thank you for the good energy.i am here in jalalabad, afg. great news, the company (my supervisor in particular) has a good grasp on the tribal situation here and the importance and potential of creating lasting and honest relationships across cultures. he also understands that as a native man, i may be able to create relationships and, or understand certain things that my colleagues may not find apparent. my job is to think outside of the box and try things that might not otherwise be tried, to assist in efforts to eradicate opium poppy growth, distribution and use. fifty years of oppression and war has really done a number on these folks.
fighting the good fight,
your younger brother,
Thank you to my Beloved Father, Phil Lane Jr., for presenting your inspirational, visionary, heartfelt, and passionate words to my Ethnic Studies Native American Philosophies class and to the community at Oregon State University on Wednesday evening. As always, you awe and humble me, with your knowledge and loving spirit. Your timely presentation brought full circle what began 75 years ago, with your father coming to OSU and 34 years ago with your coming to the Corvallis Sweat Lodge. Your path of purpose encourages, supports, and brings me hope for my future and that of our world and the Human Family. I love you! Your daughter, Shannon
ha-we older brother,
thank you for the warm invitation, the stories, sharing your family and the time. my brother and i are grateful you were able to pick up on our call, and the line wasn't busy...
hope to see you again soon.
I was a witness to how highly esteemed you are by everyone at PowWows I have atteneded and wondered about you and your work. I spent many hours reading your website just before Silversong and I brought the sacred bundle to the IONS Gathering on Firiday night. Sending a heartfelt thank you for the inspiring perspective you shared and the CRUCIALwork you are doing in the world! I wanted to sign up to work with you so the least I can do is join. What else can I do? Silversong spent the night here that night as we are working on helping her visions and dreams move forward, starting with Folk Life planning of a booth that will iinvite people to expand their conception of what it is to honor- into understanding the native Honor WAY. I was the one who was asking about the Sacred Bundle as I thought it would bring the BIG PICTURE to the conversation. Perhaps I will have the great pleasure to talk or work with you soon! Again, I honor you for your wisdom, passion and powerful work for our future generations! Kathryn
