In 1994, while on a bus enroute to Montreal and before turning toward the Mercier bridge for Kahnawake (Pow wow and camping), I happened to look up at the sky. There were puffy white clouds and it was sunny. I turned my eyes toward the East and to my wonder, clouds parted and there a white form showed and seemed to run toward the West. I squinted to see it more clearly, but I noticed I didn't have to do that as it became clearer. It was a White Buffaloo! In my excitement, I nudged my sister and told her to take a look. Both our sons who were 9 at the time, rushed over from across the aisle to see what were were looking at. My son said, "Wow!" and my nephew stared up in awe, "Neat!" he said. My sister was amazed. It seemed to follow the bus a while as it turned westward, then we could not see it as we went over the bridge. We called a cab and it took us to the Pow wow campsite. I shared this wonderous sight with Alwyn Morris and he was delighted as it was the first day of their annual summer gathering.
