The light of truth

The Light of Truth

Being Messenger of a medicine way that can save us from ourselves has not been, as first imagined, a simple task of knowing and sharing. It seems that this knowledge will not grow in the unfertile minds of those whose hearts are not awakened.

The question is how to reason with the spirit of others who suffer in a deep sleep?

The evil of the mind stealing our awareness of the divine, our Creator, our Mother, is that so many of us act upon only what we can touch or see blind to the real reality of who we are.

We can become free to chose between good and evil, and yet in this time, the choice has been made for us in the way that we are taught, in the way that we are attacked. We all experience evil to one degree or another.

The medicine held in a clan of Native American Embera healers who have kept their covenant with our Creator alive is the message of how we can live in harmony with all creation, with all of our relations.

That a knowledge exists alone does not put it into popular practice. The challenge that we face is to move towards the common good before it is too late.

Laziness is an enemy of which we all know, but underneath the practice of not becoming involved in the interest of all is a profound uncaring of the consequence of our actions or lack thereof .

This absence of love in what we do, in the way that we live, is simply the distance we have traveled from our origins.

We must start to walk again back home to our beginnings, to the agreements that exist in our blood, our heart, in the unity of our cultural diversity which is the true strength of human kind.

The assimilation, or cultural genocide, of our peoples is as the extinction of species dying through the proliferation of poisons in the air, the water, the land, our bodies.

We are as the world around us we must remove or cleanse within as well as without.

Imagine, if you will, that our minds, in this time we live in, are not necessarily our own. That our minds have many voices, or maybe none at all, only acting on what has been placed into it or the result of damage done.

What we think is not as real as the underlying truth.

A mind cannot come to know God, but something has been placed into our reason to make some of us believe that we are superior that God does not exist. This voice is evil.

In our realization of our twin nature, here we must pray that our actions be guided by the right voice, our heart, our Father.

To know Him is to surrender our mind to the greatness of our heart, our real reality.

The spiritual nature of our lives is beyond the boundaries of modern society where we are prisoners to the imposition of our intellectual pursuits be they religious, political, or scientific. What so many do not realize is that this is the domain of evil in which the devil is smarter than us all.

The voice of the daemon leads us to our own destruction and what we are led to believe is that it is our own voice, and that we are the masters of our destiny.

Our real power is that, in freedom, we have the choice between following a path of love, or one of hate and fear.

What is fundamental to this choice is that our heart is awakened to the way of life our Father has intended for us to live.

Medicine is, if of the mind, of positive thinking, calm, and happiness.

The body, and the mind, depend upon the life of other forms of life and energy, and for this the proper prayers, respect, permission asked and granted is required.

The spirit world, that binds all of creation, has its medicine held in the few remaining shamanic masters who have the original agreements alive within them; although there are some who have passed on and yet are still here.

This hidden science, as it is called, need not be tested, or proved to work, just as we need not prove the existence of our Creator for in doing so we defeat the purpose of faith.

What one determines to be true defines where ones allegiance has been placed.

If you accept the perspective of witness meditation you can see that our mind is always changing, is a very fragile construct, but does have a spiritual nature especially when you examine the reality of our dreams. However, the mind as the body will die while only our spirit remains.

This illustrates the importance of spiritual development which is actually the reason for this gift of life.

In light of the aforementioned we need reach out to that spark of love in all of us to strengthen our faith in the proper way.

The experimentation and abuse of liquor, drugs, violence, and material obsessions, does not lead us to spiritual concerns, but rather is a mental masturbation that develops addictions, and egos, that are ripe for demonic possession.

Of course the mind is very useful when disciplined by meditation and prayer for it can load us back to our heart, and serve as an instrument for good.

What does it take for us to agree to use medicine that honors our original agreements?

Cancer is now becoming the number one killer world wide. An array of other illnesses remain undefeated in terms of modern medical or other practices.

What we can do is come to the understanding that our Creator would not leave us without a way to health. The cure exists and we need to take this seriously.

What one does with precious time can determine the outcome for us all. We depend on each other, and the only ingredient that will bring fulfillment to the purpose of our lives is love.

Yes, we can all say to know what love is and yet who can define it? Please consider this humble attempt:

Love is not a thing that one owns, or develops, or grows, it is not something we do like sex or shopping.

Love is the fabric that connects us all with our Creator; it is who we are underneath our learned behavior.

Spiritual development is a return to love, and in approaching this light we are filled.

If, as in Zen, the usefulness of the mind is in its emptiness this is one way in which we can see our heart. This reality is the connection with our Father, the Son, the spirit, the light, our Mother.

In this respect, for the mind to be open to the heart; this done, we can understand true leadership guiding our actions to bring traditional medicine back into the mainstream.

The medicine songs, the dances, the rituals, like the white buffalo, is a way back, and yet, and this begs for your understanding in that the medicine has not left us.

We do not need to return to a medicine way, we just need to bring it out of hiding into plain sight.

When the European invasion of the Mother Holy Land, which is now Panama, occurred the medicine people left to a remote area in what is now called Colombia.

As this was happening one of their powerful shamans, by name of Chanchore, stayed behind to do battle with the enemy.

He could not be defeated often hiding under cover to surprise attack the invading army.

After nine years of successfully doing battle against this daemon horde he grew tired of fighting finally showing his enemies the way to kill him, and this they gladly did.

Traditional Native American Embera medicine has remained hidden to this day.

Many of the chemical compositions within the plants used by Embera healers are known to modern science, and are actually a treasure of stolen intellectual property by legal definition when you consider the money made by the pharmaceutical industry with this information.

Of course these drugs do not cure illnesses all they do is create others.

To know healing we must go to the source. For this our Father has instructed us to look to the plants.

Inherent to the medicine way is spiritual communication.

To try and reinvent this knowledge is at least a waste of time, and if commercialized destroys the sacred agreements upon which it depends.

Being messenger of a medicine way that can save us from ourselves has not been an easy task. It requires serious attention, deep thinking, affirmative action on the part of others.

Until we meet again,
