Springtime Dreams
by Diana Henderson

Swans glide across a gilded lake
Patterns swept in swirling ripples
Water painted with sky blue ink
Clouds reflecting in silken waves
Gentle and soft across smooth skin
Air caresses and draws you in
Breath and quiet contemplation
The reveries of Spring so sweet
Beckon into a dreaming sleep
Where blue-eyed grass smiles an ocean
Upon the fields wild and golden
Drink it in, in luscious stillness
And let your spirit dance in light.
