The New Emerging Global Civilization Calls for the Creation of Universal Laws and Institutions

Laying the groundwork for a new global civilization calls for the creation of laws and institutions that are universal in both character and authority. The effort can begin only when the concept of the oneness of humanity has been wholeheartedly embraced by those in whose hands the responsibility for decision making rests, and when the related principles are propagated through both educational systems and the media of mass communication.

Once this threshold is crossed, a process will have been set in motion through which the peoples of the world can be drawn into the task of formulating common goals and committing themselves to their attainment. Only so fundamental a reorientation can protect them, too, from the age-old challenges of ethnic and religious strife. Only through the dawning consciousness that they constitute a single people will the inhabitants of Mother Earth be enabled to turn away from the patterns of conflict that have dominated social organization in the past and begin to learn the ways of collaboration and conciliation-UHJ

The Rainbow Bridge connects all people, all colors to transport to the new dawn rising.  The crossing of the Bridge has been undertaken, and by example others will become awakened to a new way of being, and choose to cross.  Mother Earth will shake and that which serves no purpose will be exposed.  These are words I believe to be true.  A single people will be united in task to live in harmony with all that is, duality will exist no more within unity consciousness.  Collaboration and conciliation are demonstrated when awareness is reflected in right action.  The new dawn rising...is now.

I pray and hope that we can do these things. Grandfather William said to me one time, " It may take a huge natural disaster to bring this healing about ( mother earth shaking herself like a big dog shaking off the annoying bugs) that will bring us to our knees. I hope that isn't nessasary!  Those of us that are here after will have the opportunity to form this Utopian Society. My burning question is why do we have to look at the differences between peoples? We should be looking for common ground, so we can share. Then when the mystery of these unknown peoples is known, it negates fear. Therefore we can celibrate the differences, not fear them.

There isn't much to disagree with in your post as far as principle but the practicality in these times is very unlikely. One could interpret ancient prophecies and predictions to allow for a oneness in the human condition and getting the whole of humanity to agree that the protection of the world and it's resources is vital to us all. The problem is no one from ancient history had any clue of the size and scope of the planet and the differences in politics, religion, and cultural beliefs therein. Am I mistaken in your blog that when you suggest, "Laying the groundwork for a new global civilization calls for the creation of laws and institutions that are universal in both character and authority ", are suggesting that giving up our sovereignty as a member of a free nation we would some how be better off? Keep in mind that in many parts of this world the very existence of your blog would not be possible. The world may yet be ready for a "Star Trek Utopian Society" but sadly I doubt whether it will come in any of our life times.

Rather focusing on the big picture why not take in steps what is possible, getting the whole of humanity to focus on the health of our wonderful planet. Sometimes getting people to focus on a worth while project and seeing what can be accomplish while working as a whole can be the best teacher to spend the message that we really all are one people.

Can we possibly hope that the healiing necessary for growth will be a by product of becoming this one people. Maybe I just dream, but I was taught to dream big.

This is true and sorely needed.  The obstacles are great and I do not know how many governments and how many people are willing to make the necessary changes.  Perhaps with an open-hearted approach it could work.  But I wonder, even with this, if those who are in power can look to your good example and seek to emulate it.  Yet it is my opinion that this sort of thing is exactly what is needed.  Our collective consciousness seems doomed if we continue the current paths without making positive changes.  I agree with Brother White-Bear's sentiments, echoes of what I had the privilege of Sun Bear saying years ago, albeit somewhat different when he said "Pray on it."  Blessings -
