Drilling in Alaska's Chukchi Sea? Has the Gulf of Mexico Been Forgotten?

It has been said many times before and I think it bears repeating:  "Those who forget their history are condemned to repeat it."

For the life of me I cannot understand why efforts like those at the University of Michigan where they have figured out how to make oil from algae by pressure-cooking it are not being implemented and the risky business of drilling in the oceans continues...
