Crystal Park Medicine Bowl

The Stone People in this Medicine Bowl are asking something of us.  They would like for us to sit with the image and send love into the Bowl, for the area from which most of the items in the bowl were gathered.  Here in Montana, there is an area that has become well known for its crystal deposits.  A state park was developed and thousands of people have been digging crystals out of the ground here for years.

This past summer, I was invited to go to the park for the first time.  I was torn between wanting to take home all of  the wonderful crystal beings I was finding, and....deeply saddened by the way the hilltop had been ravaged by human hands. 

Huge holes filled the woods.  Trees had blown down due to extensive digging near their roots...See photo and read the whole story...
