It takes courage to acknowledge all of our gifts, even those that we not have wanted or are shy or afraid to admit to. They are all here to shape us into who we are. The not so pleasant perhaps help us to be more aware of those that are pleasant. We need to cherish and give gratitude for them all. Miss Ridley you have a good heart. I ask for blessings for you.

My lineage is a twisted one and hard to trace due to much bigotry and fear. I know that I am the only one to follow this path but perhaps my son and daughter may one day if it is their choosing. I know in my heart that my father and grandfather and my relations are very happy to see following this path. Their spirits often dance and smile upon me. I was given the Kakatewi Maskwa Sawnoek Kaotet ( A VERY OLD CREE Dialect)- Black bear man Who Walks From The South about eight years ago. Recently while fasting a helper gave me the name Many Hats. Kind of appropriate as I am changing direction in my life and following a new path to share storytelling, literacy and healing with our people. Perhaps some day Red Bear can come a visit. We would like to share our stories and hear those of the many great nations that live on Turtle Island . hey hey

Hello Miss Ridley,
Good to read your words our customs are the same. I take pleasure in telling of my family lineage. I bring the spirits of my relatives to the greeting process. They might be in the Rainbow Medicine Blanket Council if you find yourself there. I find you to be exceptionally noble to remember the ones before you.

Many thanks for your introduction
