Cardinal

The other day Sandy’s daughter came over to sup with us. On the way into our house see witnessed a disturbing event. A hawk swooped down and gathered a small bird into its talons. The small birds father, a Cardinal, rich in red display took off after this predator. Carrie watched as he came within inches of the hawk but failed to cause the release of his juvenile.

Sharing healing

A few days ago found me at the large fruit and vegetable market in Panama City where all the produce of the republic is trucked in to later be distributed to vendors.

The reason for my trip was to pick up a large sack of plantain sent up from the rez by my wifes sister. In the sack would also be some herbal medicines that we use to make remedys.
