Why?

I am a gobal medical herblist. In my tradition, I take no money or gifts to help people who are in need of healing. I am strengthened by what I learn when I am given the honor to help people heal themselves. I do have one question: I ask this of all I sit with and that question I also pose to this forum: "Why do we two legged insist on becoming and remaining ill, phsyically/spiritually, there is no separation. On Friday, violent attacks on peaceful indigenous blockades in the Peruvian Amazon left 25 civilians and 9 police dead and hundreds injured.

Pachamama in Ecuador has played a key role in supporting this movement by providing important financial, logistical, communications, and legal… Continue

In addition to the link, I'd like to share my response to the story:

I am delighted that the Nipmuc people are reclaiming their identity and strengthening their community. I don’t know this to be true, but if, as a reader here claims, a casino developer played a role in prompting the Nipmucs… Continue

Two old friends who'd never met

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I am honored and delighted to be with you here, and I extend my deep thanks to Phil Lane Jr. and Jon Ramer for envisioning and creating this welcoming circle.
