After years of trying to process an identity problem, knowing I was Indian and trying to meet white expectations and near to taking my own life because I thought it would be better to be with my ancestors than to live in this world of confusion. I had tried to become a Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Baptist, and Pentecostal. I had tried to become a Republican, Democrat, a Liberatarian and a member of Green Peace. I tried to be a soldier in the Army and admired the Marines, Coast Guard,…Continue

Yesterday I learned from a friend whose son lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, of another fire on a Gulf Oil Rig.
I have not heard of this unfortunate event, and sadly I have not seen or heard anything about it in any of the major news media. But since I no longer partake of much of the major news media through television or radio, I could easily have missed something.

I listened to stories of gangs, violence, alcohol and drug issues, as well as suicide. How did we get to this place? How does something go unchecked for so long, before someone comes along and says hey you know this is not…Continue
I'm sure you all have had personal crises. No one is immune. We are in a collective crisis. Our personal crisis changed us for the better if we allowed it to transform us and see it with clear vision .
"My calamity is My providence, outwardly it is fire and vengeance, but inwardly it is light and mercy. Hasten thereunto that thou mayest become an eternal light and an immortal spirit."…
