Is The Euro Crisis Out of Control ?

You may read the entire piece at the link below. Unfortunately, what is said here rings true. The EU is the largest political union in the world and it is now in chaos. The comments about the markets that are at the end of this exerpt also rings true--high frequency trading and ETF's can cause liquidity to dry up instantly and create situations where the market is susceptible to "flash crashes" as markets may not be controllable given the ability of traders to just go to another venue.

However, unless & until this happens, we need laws that are enforceable. Jefferson assumed that all people were adhering to Christian principles. Degradation of these principles means that lawmakers have to react faster than the crooks! May we lead the way by example, and keep the grassroots calls besieging our elected members to be conscionable & responsible.
