- I have long admired the work of Phil Lane. In fact I visited him while in Canada in 1992, to talk about the similar needs our First Nations peoples have in Australia and in Canada. My work over the years has focused on the traumatisation in colonisation, finding a healing response to the generational trauma of Aboriginal lives.
