YouRIndigenous Radio is pleased to invite you to tune in on September 18th for our first, online, weekly two-hour radio show dedicated to bringing the latest Indigenous news, music, talents and heroes from across Native communities throughout North America. Each show will feature a young contemporary Indigenous Hero, Musician, Artist, Activist, or Leader who is making a difference and inspiring their Native communities.

The hosts of the show are Deloria Many Grey Horses of the Blackfoot, Dakota and Chickasaw nations and Istuyee Montez of the Blackfeet Nation. Both will facilitate the weekly program; researching & sharing national news stories, while continually seeking Native talent to introduce on the show.

The Mission of YouRIndigenous Radio is founded in the necessity for communications amongst Indigenous populations, to network and build well informed communities and alliances. As well as, promote American Indian media makers, cultural practitioners, artists and musicians leading their respective communities into the future. Our first show on September 18th, 2011 will focus on current events and getting to know our Crew.

Our hereon for September 25th, 2011 is Missy Whiteman from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is an Indigenous media advocate, photographer, visual artist, graphic designer and filmmaker from the Arapaho and Kickapoo nations. She is also the founder of Independent Indigenous Film & Media, a company that specializes in media production, training and design.
